Dish Details is a food recipe blog created to help people discover simple and enjoyable recipes they can make at home. With a growing collection of recipes across different categories, the website needed a clear structure that would make it easy for visitors to browse, discover new dishes, and get to the recipes without unnecessary distractions.

The goal was to create a modern food recipe website that could explain cooking process clearly.

MY ROLE

I designed and developed the website from the ground up in WordPress using Elementor. My role covered the page layouts, content structure, responsive design, recipe presentation, navigation, and overall user experience. I also made sure the design could be easily maintained and updated as new recipes are added.

THE APPROACH

The main focus was to keep the website clean, welcoming, and centered around the food content. I used a simple layout with clear typography, generous spacing, and strong food imagery so the recipes remain the main focus of each page.

I also structured the site around recipe discovery. Categories and sections are clearly presented so visitors can browse different types of food and find something they want to cook. Individual recipe pages were designed to keep the information easy to follow, with the important details presented in a way that doesn’t make the page feel overwhelming.

Since a large part of recipe browsing happens on mobile, I also paid close attention to the responsive experience. The layouts, text, images, and spacing were adjusted across screen sizes to make the content comfortable to browse on both desktop and mobile.

The final website gives Dish Details a clean and organized platform for publishing and showcasing its recipes. The design keeps the focus on the food while making the content easy to browse, read, and navigate.

Built with WordPress and Elementor, the site also gives the client a flexible setup for continuing to publish new recipes and expand the website over time.
